Layout questions: removing the tv/video/music submenus, adjusting some image icon

I'm working on a layout and theme, and had some questions on whether it's possible to do a couple of things.

1) is it possible to turn off or move the popup side menus that appear when you press "right" while highlighting tv/video/music? My layout's arranged so that the popup seems out of place in that location.

2) Some of the image panels appear to have fixed ratio sizes, for example: the menu icons and the menu title icon appear to be stuck as squares, and their movement is limited to the center of the screen. Is there anyway to get around that?

If these two aren't possible in the current layout system, then I'd like to make these feature requests

#1 is possible, I just did it the other day. Check out the SageMC Options->Screen Specific->Main Menu. Its full of useful stuff, so be sure and go through everything to see if it answers more of your questions.

Not sure about #2.
