Extender doesn't work
I use a universal remote. I was watching TV via the extender, and I pressed the EJECT button for the DVD player and all of a sudden Sage froze. I rebooted HTPC, routers, and HD100. No servers found message keeps appearing. Almost as if pressing eject broke the extender? Any help much appreciated.

I do not know the reason, but there have been times that I get the "server not found message". It is wierd because the server is online and my other extenders will find it fine. This has happened with all three of my extenders at one time or another. I'll select refresh over and over and over and after sometimes 20 to 30 attempts it will connect. Eventually, it has always worked.
I'd suggest powering off the extender with the switch and then trying again. If that does not work then, if it were me, I'd try reloading firmware (the unbrick procedure). Best of luck. |

Didn't you notice that button on your universal remote was labeled "Break Sage Extender"?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Don't mean to make light of your situation. Try Rob's suggestion. I hope you get it working!

You might want to double-check your ethernet cables. If they're okay, take a look at your router and make sure the extender is getting an IP address. If it is, then try pinging the extender from the server. If you can ping it, it should be able to connect. If not, then I'd go with Rob's unbrick suggestion or submit a support request.
