Question FiOS DCT-700 Standby Mode

I have noticed recently that my Motorola DCT-700 boxes are getting tired and go to sleep some time in the middle of the night. Because this is an IR controlled box, I can't get any response from the box that it is asleep other than the dark picture.

Fortunately, I can setup a quick script which I can execute over SSH to turn them back on, but does anyone know of a way to stop them from going in to standby at all? Or, does anyone know of a key press sequence which will bring one of these boxes out of standby without pressing power?

Thanks!

B
