Exclamation Alphabet Title Jumping

Somewhere between the original 6.3.8 release and the current update this broke. SageMC will no longer jump to a particular letter in the list.

Nobody?

BTW, a little testing I determined this still works in "My Music" but stopped working in "My Videos"

For those who don't know what I'm talking about here is a screenshot. It's the pop-out on the right side.

Which version are you using? I'm using the latest 6.3.8b11 and it works just as expected.

Strange, I'm using the latest version.

Just to be sure I re-downloaded both the full package for 6.3.8a and the updated 6.3.9b_11 file and installed them both again. The results were the same. When I try to advance to a particular letter it just kicks it back out the list and doesn't go the that letter.

I'm using SageTV 6.5.7 RC.

I am guessing it is related to the same issue I have. When the list of movies is built, if it is a DVD folder, it uses the folder name, not the title and seems to screw up the search and sorting. Try testing it on the All Movies veiw. Since that only uses title, it works correctly and if you don't have any dvd folders the file system view seems to sort correctly.

EDIT: it may be a different issue, I just noticed you were using the genre view, and not the file system view... But it may be related to the same issue...

EDIT2: To clerify the list is build by path/file name, but the display is by title name, so if the file/path is a different spelling that the title, it shows up out of order....

Thanks,
Jeff

That is interesting. I tried it out and it does work in All Videos view but not Genre view.
