video file metadata (title, description, etc)?
Is there any way to get show info metadata when working in standalone mode? I copy my recorded video files (both OTA .mpg and HD-PVR .ts files) to an external USB drive so that I can play them back at when I'm at a location that does not have OTA/cable/satelite/internet.
I've already got the metadata I want sitting in separate files (using the SageTV XML export plug-in). I'm a programmer-type, so I could also munge it into another form if need be. My question is, is there any form that the HD200 will read and display when in standalone mode? Ideally I would want at a minimum: Title, Description, air date, etc... And I'd like to get it working with the info button or better yet when I'm browsing the media files so I can select the show to watch. thanks, david
