Hauppauge 1600 help

Hi,

I have a two tuner setup using a genpix skywalker and a hauppauge 1600 for ATSC digital channels.

1600 scans many channels but only picks up 2 channels and says no signal for the rest. Under windows vista media center i get all ATSC locals using the 1600 with 100% signal.

What am i doing wrong?

After working with SageTV support for some time on this exact issue, we got nowhere...

I WAS able to get the 1600's to work with Vista by... doing a clean install of Vista.

There has to be an issue/bug, but the only thing that would work was a fresh OS install.

Try finding an older version of the drivers for the 1600. I can only get Clear QAM to work withthe drivers from the WINTV CD 3.4D1. I also needed to boost my signal for the weak HVR-1600. Good Luck

Oddly enough, you can download the old drivers/Wintv app combo on the Hauppauge site. You can only get to it by going through the PVR-150 download section.
