So in this setup you would:

go from the wall to directly to the 150

then use the hd pvr and the cable box.

Use the HD200 to watch recordings at one tv (this enables watch hdtv and recording)

Use the media extender to watch SD recording and sd tv.

I am going to add in the HD hr into the mix to give me more HDTV recording tuners.

Am I on the correct path??

Yes.

The HD200 can watch both SD and HD.
The MVP cannot watch H264 because of the transcoding (need Horsepower). But you might be able to watch HDHR recordings on the Mvp (of course will be SD).

The HDHR will work with only unencrypted QAM.

SO I am trying to figure out a OTA antenna with this setup. I don't want a huge antenna on my roof. I want good reception. I have a couple mounting choices

1. Attic (but I have a metal roof, is there a way to deal with this)
2. I have a small green house that faces the mountain (how does solar glass affect an hdtv antenna).
3. The roof.

My zip code 82604, Casper WY. I want a uhf/vhf combo antenna. I was looking at the wineguard cm3000a or a MS2000. Is this overkill. Should I consider something else. Any experiences with these antennas.

Thanks for the help
