Quick noob questions
  1. Can I load SageMC on one client without affecting other clients?
  2. Will SageMC run on PlaceShifter?

Yes to both questions. I think you have to run SageTV as a service to run clients different from each other though - at least that's how I do it.

Yes, as Brent said.

I have that way. I also run as a service but don't know if needed.
