Custom profiles

I like to make a custom profile for SVCD with CBR, (because my DVD player likes this better).
I don't understand how to do this, i read these insstuctions (http://www.sage.tv/developers.html) but it doesn,t seem to work. Do i have to start the line with "mmc/python2_encoding...." why is that?

Thank you but i used that file,
i just don,t know what to put in exactly, it says somethong like:
mmc/python2_encoding/QualityName=videobitrate=2800000|width=480|height=480|audiobitrate=256

What is python2 ?
When i use this line exactly it does not work!

Remove the space you have between encoding/ and QualityName
that should solve the problem.

python2 is the name for the generic drivers for the MPEG2 chip these settings were originally intended for
