viewing recorded files

I was just wondering in my setup
I have both analogue cable and DirecTV
I have different color settings for each of these inputs
I kind of figure that when viewing a cable file it would use the cable color settings and when viewing a file recorded from DirecTV it would use the DirecTV color settings
but I could be wrong
But my problem is when viewing imported files(they are recording that I removed from the SageTV and put back after a install of the newest beta)
Are these files in the imported video files library going to still use my color settings based upon whether they were recorded from cable or my satellite OR are they just going to use some default setting like either the cable or satellite color settings for all the imported files)
I just noticed when viewing two of the same Tv shows one in the Sage recording and the other in the imported files that the color was off in the imported video
I think SageTv should add something to a file where it would be recognizable whether it is has left the SageTv folder or not
if this is the case
(I would also like to see a back of watched TV shows avaiable and editable)

If you're talking Capture Color settings (the only ones I'm aware of in Sage), those are applied to the file when recording, they become part of the file.
