It does.

I only have one disc to try this with (John Mayer) but it doesn't seem to be working for me (I only get stereo PCM)? Anyone get this to work?
You need the extender set to output bitstream, not PCM.

Also, multichannel PCM (PCM on the disc itself, not decoded from something else) is not supported yet, right?
Sorta, you only get stereo at the moment, just the L/R channels, not a downmix (AFAIK).

If you mean setting the audio output to "SPDIF" then this is what I have. I get normal Dolby Digital and DTS signals just fine.

Wow this really works fantastic, Sage did a great job

I just hooked up a BR drive, installed AnyDVD, added the drive as an import folder, and started watching Bluray movies on my HD200. The whole process couldn't have taken more than ~5 minutes (and $200 ).

Then you should make sure you're running one of the more recent beta's that support it.

I do have the latest Beta software and firmware. I'm not sure what's wrong...

If you look at the detailed info for the file (in Sage) what's it say it's got for audio?

Corel WinDVD 9 Plus (Blu-ray) costs $80
Don't BR drives for PCs come with a OEM version of one of the above apps? And I believe that if you have Arcsoft via the HD-PVR that there is a reasonable upgrade to the full version - something like $25-$35?

DolbyTrueHD@96KHz 5.1 eng, PCM_BD@96kHz Stereo eng

Selecting either one only gives me stereo output. I wonder if the 96kHz is giving the extender problems?

If I were to install 2 or 3 shared BD drives in my Sage server and set them up as import directories and have AnyDVDHD running would Sage be able to stream more than one at a time to my HD-200's?

I'm guessing that the Sage part of this would work but am not sure about AnyDVD HD being able to handle more than one at a time.

AnyHD-DVD can and does handle multiple drives ina single system. I have had a DVD drive and a BluRay drive at the same time... no problems.

With the latest HD200 firmware update I see the following included:

Quote:
Subtitles support
BDMV directory support
Does the subtitles support include subtitles for Blu-Ray discs?
Does the BDMV directory support mean they've added blu-ray playback in extender mode or something else?

Is there anything Blu-ray-wise it can't do? I'm assuming DTS-HD and DD-HD can't be done yet. Anything else?

No menus or BD-Live content.

I submitted this as a bug and it turns out that it is a 96 kHz issue. It probably will be fixed in the next update.

I'm new to SageTV could someone verify I have all this correct?

I have:
WHS
AnyDVD
Blu-ray/HD Drive
Gigabit ethernet connection

I have been ripping my Blu-ray and HD-DVDs to .iso files (sans DRM) will the HD-200 play these back?

If not, I'd simply need to rip them as the folder structure instead of disc images, correct?

Also, I see mention of this only working in Media Extender mode, am I correct that this requires the SageTV Software installed on my WHS machine in order to function?

And finally, does it support HD-DVD formats at all? Or would I need to convert these to .mkv files or the likes?

Thank you

I'm not sure. But yes, if you just "extract" them to their native folder structure it should work just fine.

As for HD DVD, I've been using eac3to to demux them, and then using TSMuxer to create a BD (with chapters) out of them.

Has anyone tried Kung-Fu Panda? It doesn't work for me from the drive or from a folder.

I finally got Kung-Fu Panda working. It took me a few tries to rip it successfully but once I did it's playing perfectly
