Does SageTV support playback of Blu-Ray DVDs?

I don't yet own a drive capable of playing Blu-Ray DVDs, but was wondering if it would be a better idea to buy a standalone player, or get a drive for my PC and run it through Sage, but wasn't sure if Sage would be able to do it. I didn't see anything other than "DVD" as being supported on the main Sage feature page, and I'd hate to spend over $200 for a drive that wouldn't do what I intended to do with it.

I'm sure if it can be done, it's probably being done by someone who regularly reads this forum, so after searching a bit (and mostly seeing posts relative to ripping them, transcoding them, etc.), I figured I'd just ask.

No, SageTV does not play bluray disks.
Try searching the forum using the keyword: powerdvd
The results of that search will show you want others are doing to play Bluray "using" SageTV.

The basic idea is you can use SageTV to start another application(IE: PowerDVD) that can play bluray.
