How to cancel a recording of a favorite one time?

When a favorite is set to record using the HD-PVR, I am unable to cancel the recording.
For example, if I'm watching something live on the cable box, there may be an HD-PVR favorite set to record. Since I'm using the cable box for something else, I want to cancel the recording.

From SageTV I can go to "SageTV Recordings" or "View Recording Schedule" and find the show that is recording. Clicking on the show brings up Options, and from there I go to Record Options. The options are "Record this show", "Remove this favorite" and "Adjust Record Options". Clicking on "Record This Show" changes the red "F" to a red "M", but the recording continues. Now if I go back to "Record Options there is an option to cancel recording. If I select it, the red "M" changes back to red "F", but it is still recording.

How do I cancel recording of a favorite as a one-time event (without deleting the favorite for the future)? There must be some way to do this other than shutting down SageTV entirely.

I believe that if you continue watching then when Sage needs the tuner it will ask you if you wish continue watching and cancel or reschedule the recording if it is possible to do so. It won't just take control of the tuner if you are watching TV through it using Sage.

Mark that episode Watched and it won't record. You can always mark it Unwatched again later if you want to catch some future re-airing of it.
