Aeon-like skins for SageTV?

Hi

Sorry if my questions seems quite stupid - I've only recent began investigating SageTV. I love all the feature it provides (especially, the server-client model), but I can't get over the plain default UI. I looks like it's 5 years out of date.

Could someone point me to the "cooler" theme? I've enjoyed the Aeon UI that I use with mediaportal right now. Is there something similar to it on SageTV? If not, what are the best themes available right now? Thanks a lot!

I applied the theme, but I can't seem to get the menu layout... I can't find how to:

3) (Optional) To install the layouts, from the Main Menu bring up the Options menu, and select "Customize Screen Layout", select "Import/Export Layout", select "Import All", then navigate to the nBlue folder and select "nBlue.full.layout"

4) (Optional) To install the provided menu file, from the Main Menu bring up the Options menu, select "Main Menu Options", then "File...", then select "Load other menu file...", and enter in nBlue_menu.xml via keyboard or remote.

Where is "Customize Screen Layout"? Thanks!

On a PC, hit the ESC key while on the Main Menu.
On an Extender, hit the Options button

If I do that, I only get two options:

1. Display Videos on Menus
2. Video Menu Style

I can't find the "Customize Screen Layout" option at all

Sounds like you don't have Dynamic Menu's enabled in SageMC.

Sorry, didn't mean to be unhelpful. I just looked a refrence to enable it in the forums. I think it's somewhere in the SageMC Settings section. It should be "Enable Dynamic Menus" or something like that. When I get home from work, I will look for it and post, if you haven't figured it out by then.

SageMC is a different install than the theme. Did you install that package first?

Thanks a lot for all your help! I installed SageMC and tinkered with the settings menu. It now looks quite nice. I do still have 1 question though: how do I enable fanart? Thanks!
