Script/Program to STOP/RESUME Process
Hi.
Does anyone have a script that will stop & resume a process when CPU load goes over a certain %? I can do this very easily in Linux, but Windows is not my strenght. What I like to do, is to stop the transcoder.exe process from transcoding if the CPU goes over a certain percent - like 80 for example. Changing the priority does very little and when we are watching two converted recordings while 2 Sage recordings and 1 transcoding are all running at the same time, I get lots of stop/go when watching. If I stop the transcoding (mpg -> avi ), the CPU's are back to normal and I can watch without delays. It would be nice to automate this.
