Windows Startup Options
Anyone know where the Options are to (or Not to) Start Sage (2.13) when Windows reboots?
It was under Advanced (options) in 1.4 but it now seems to be gone? |

If you want to start it, just link the EXE in your startup folder. (if you want it running all the time, use a daemon tool to make it a daemon).

I also think in the properties file there is a startup line in there. If you set it to 2 I believe it will startup Sage in the system tray.

Thanks, I found it - I realize this is a beta but WHY on earth would such a vital option be hidden like that - Dumb, Dumb, Dumb

You answered that...it's a beta. Seriously I think it was overlooked and will probably end up in the setup screen just like 1.4.

Separately, but a bit related, I've grabbed TweakUI, part of Powertoys for WinXP.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp This allows my HTPC to auto log into a (non-admin) account. Pretty nice for power failures and the like when I'm not around. |

Quote:
control userpasswords2 Uncheck the box requiring a user to log in and put the user name and password, if any, in the box which pops up, and reboot. This worked great for me. |
