Sage on server will not start if HD200 is running

I have two HD200 extenders and I can not start the SageTV UI on the server if an extender is already running. The server is running the Sage service in the background to serve the extenders, but I can not start the UI software on the server - it hangs up early in the boot process with a black screen. If I turn off the extenders - it starts fine.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? I am running the most recent version of Sage on Windows XP, and the extenders (2) are running the most recent firmware.
