HD-PVR poor HD quality, and TME is 'stuck' at an input quality of 720 x 480...

Hello!

Im almost up and running with my HD-PVR and my plasma. I finally got my VMR not to stutter, and sound correctly coming out of my nVidia DVI port.

However when I watch TV via the HD-PVR the quality is HORRIBLE. Worse than SD. I'm 99% sure its because the HD-PVR sees the input resolution as 720x480 (Im not sure why its stuck here because over the weekend when I first installed it I saw 1080i). I can't find out where I can change this setting? Should TME or the HD-PVR automatically detect the resolution input change? When I go from a SD channel to a HD channel?

I know the signal is OK because Im using the pass-thru on the HD-PVR to go to the TV as well (so I can compare images by flipping through the input channels) and the HD channels look like HD.

Has anyone seen this before? I'm so close to having this finally working good.

Nevermind Im a complete idiot. I had to replace my cable box because the old one broke and this one was set to 480i.

So the HD-PVr was seeing the correct resolution and the Samsung was just doing some SWEET upscaling...
