Movie list is empty

I'm using SageMC together with the latest beta (.12), and I just noticed that the sub menu 'movies' is empty. This used to work, but last night I noticed that it only listed movies for 12 hours, and once these 12 hours passed the list was empty. I didn't modify any settings. But somehow the movie listing doesn't get refreshed anymore.

My guide looks perfectly fine, and I can filter for movies in the guide, but not in the movie listing.

Has anybody seen this before, could this be a problem related to the beta?

No. Click on the 1st button in that menu. It cycles through On Now-Up Next-All Upcoming. On Now will usually cover up thru 2 hours. Up Next will cover up to about the next 5 hours. All Upcoming is self explanatory. Make sure there is no filter active on it. Also make sure it's not just showing Genres by backing out of that screen. My is working with the latest beta and I get 17 movies-74 movies-3524 movies cycling thru.

That's not the issue. The whole list is now completely empty, neither in "on now", "on next", or "show all". I can essentially press any button in the movie sub menu, but nothing gets displayed anymore. And as I'd said before, this used to work fine before. It seems that the category "movie" somehow does not get filtered anymore.

I also went back one beta version (to .11), but that didn't change anything.

I checked this last night and it works fine for me in my latest development version. Is it possible that you might have changed the movie category name that it is looking for? That would have this effect. There is an option for changing this somewhere in the SageMC options screen, IIRC. (Typically, the category should be 'Movie', unless your EPG provider uses something else.)

Aloha,
Mike

There's definetly something wrong with regards to the "Movie" category on my system. I did not change the entry you mentioned in SageMC, but I had changed the UI language quite some time ago within Sage (the movie browser worked using a different language until a couple of days ago). I switched everything back to English yesterday, but it still doesn't fix the issue.

It seems that I don't have a category "Movie" anymore, there's only a category "Film" that holds all the movies, e.g. I can browse this category, if I switch to AiringBrowser and then "Film".
Still, I'm not sure how exactly I lost this one category name (all other categories seem to be fine), and how I can restore it.

Go to My Menu-Settings-SageMC-Main-Screen Specific Options-My TV-Movie Category and make sure it says Movie in there.

As I'd mentioned above, I did not change this specific entry in SageMC, and it still says Movie.

Well that's the only place you can. And in Detailed Setup-Customize-Alternate Movie Category Name the default is Film. These are the only two places I know of that affect it.

The whole thing is pretty weird. I actually changed the mentioned entry in SageMC to "Film" and now I got the movie listings back. And then I went back to the default "Movie" and noticed that there are actually some movies listed now , but only beginning with a date of 3/27. Not sure, but this might actually be an epg (provider) issue. Let's see, if it fully recovers within a couple of days...
