SageTV W/Placeshifter & Vista 64 W/MCE IR Blasters

Hi,

i'm considering buying SageTV with the Placeshifter, and before I plunk down $100, I would like to know a few things.

First, my PC setup:

Vista Ultimate 64 Bit
AMD Phenom Quad Core 9600 2.3 GHZ Processor
8 GB DDR 2 Ram
Hauppauge HVR 1800 Dual Tuner (NTSC & ATSC) (Hardware Encoder) PCI-E
AverMedia Hybrid Bravo Tuner (Software Encoder) PCI-E
Microsoft IR Blaster running 2 set top boxes
Road Runner w/ Turbo (up to 20MB Down, 2MB Up)

Now, having said that, will SageTV with the Placeshifter support these tuners (It says the Hauppauge tuner is supported) and will the IR Blasters work natively and control the set top boxes remotely, and are there any conflicts with Vista Media Center/Vista 64 Bit?

I've tried Orb, and what lousy software and support. I haven't been able to get that junk to work for years now.

I had WebGuide 4 before i upgraded to 64 Bit and it worked great, but it isn't supported anymore, and it doesn't play well with Vista 64.

Well, an admin here basically told me I'd have to go ask tech support. Funny that there's no PHONE NUMBER to call SageTV. That right there speaks volumes.

I don't know about you, but I'm not waiting around for a company to make me wait 3 days to give me info to decide whether I should spend my money on their product or not.

I'll go buy something else.
