New to SageTV HD Theater

Hi guys,
Sorry to bother, I'm interested in getting this, but I have a few questions I hope you don't mind helping me out with before I buy it.

1) I'm going to be using it as a standalone media player only.. can I change the GUI to something like sagemc? How do I do that? Do I need a pc to do that or a mac?
I do not like the sage original frontend..

2) Will it display coverart for my videos?

3) Do you guys like it? any problems with file playback?

It's possible, but unfortunately nobody has created a new standalone UI for the HD200. When in extender mode (connected to SageTV Media Center software) you can use any STV that you can on a PC/Mac. And you can use it with either Windows, Linux or Mac SageTV servers.

2) Will it display coverart for my videos?

It won't go out and find them automatically, but if you've got the coverart (folder.jpg or filename.jpg) then it will display them.

3) Do you guys like it? any problems with file playback?

I rarely use mine in standalone mode, but I wouldn't give up either of mine. They replaced my PC SageClient(s) and I didn't give up any functionality, and the work better on top of it (but I didn't use all the customizations some here do).

Yeah but that's "just" a theme, not a new interface like SageMC.
