Always On Internet Connection?
My apologies if this is a dumb question.
I'm waiting for the parts for my new PVR system and wondered about the need for a constant Internect connection? Does SageTV need a constant connection, or only once every x days to download tv listings? If only every so often, how often? This will only be a temporary condition until I get the network built in my house. Thanks for any input (or directions to where I can find the answer).

Considering that one of the version 2 options is "Autodial if Needed for Internet", it should be able to dial as needed. (I don't use a modem & just noticed that today, so I'm not sure if it is new or if I just never noticed it before.)
Anyway, as far as I know, it only needs internet access to download the guide info once a day. Anyone else kow differently? - Andy
