When I go to main menu select more then the settings or video conversion screens I get video full video on the background.

I can't tell you how we have season filtering working in Ortus as I didn't code it (I think its in an external jar) but we do have it fully working so it is possible. I think phoenix is also working on a season filter of some sort so it maybe worth asking Sean for some guidance.

Nice job on Serenity Phoenix should look very cool once you start work on it, if this is anything to go by.

Beta 11 is here - mainly bug fixes.
* Title for TV Movies fixed
* misc highlite issues fixed
* TV Preview in all except home screen is selectable, and takes you back to the video.
* Option to disable random fanart in Serenity Options menu

There's a new asset (ie .png file) in the zip, so make sure to extract the whole thing.

I Started with new properties file loaded up Beta11 everything looks good. There is only 1 cosmetic problem that I saw in the "more menu" when you first load your menu file the Icons do not show up. I had to edit menu Item and browse to the icons.

Hi,
Just noticed something weird with Serenity. Using SageMC default and default STV works fine, but with Serenity enabled, If i play a recorded file from My Videos, it stutters and the picture will freeze while sounds continues.

any idea what could be causing this?

It seems impossible that Serenity could cause that - but anything is possible. I'll keep an eye out for that....

I got Beta 10 up and running yesterday morning and it looked really good on my 40" projection and my HDTV projector which shoots on a 90" screen. I spent a bunch of time trying to get FanArt working as well with mixed results but thats not Serenity's fault.

What are the recommended steps to upgrade to 11. Can we just replace the files. Great work on this. Even the wife liked it and she usually dislikes change.

You will need to roll back to a version of SageMC that doesn't have Serenity and then import 11.

I have noticed this problem occasionally too. At the same time, I’m not using Serenity yet, so I don’t believe Serenity would be your problem either… It seems to happen when I play MKV files. I think what fixed it for me was to pause and restart the movie, or rewind for a second and start from there. It seems very random and happens very infrequently, but I have noticed it more than a few times…

Serenity appears to break fan art. I am able to get fanart with the default STV.... but when I import serenity and do all the steps.... fanart breaks. Is there anything special I have to do?

PS I can get fanart with the default TV screens but not with the serenity screens.

Fanart in Serenity works in the TV Info Screen and the TV Subgroup Screen. The other screens (notably the Guide, My TV, and Recorded TV) where context sensitive fanart comes into play don't work in Serenity yet.

Have you tried getting fanart in SageMC working (without serenity?)

FYI - Season number and Episode number support is there now. When you are in the program info screen, hit INFO to toggle between two screens - one has synopsis, the other extra info like channel, time, season, etc.

Looking at the download page, I notice like in your preview shots, you have different highlight buttons in the menu. I kinda like those. Can you provide those with the theme?
