Enabling Hauppauge Remote

I just got a Hauppauge 250, with the silver remote, and trial version of SageTV 1.4. I have the hardware installed and it is working great, but I can't figure out how to get the remote to work with SageTV.

I believe the remote hardware is working, because if I press the "go" button on the remote , (without Sage TV running) it brings up a window to start the Hauppauge wintv program.

But with SageTV running, none of the remote buttons have any effect.

When you installed SageTV did you check the box for hauppage remote support?

I don't remember, but probably not. Do I need to reinstall? I did configure to use the hauppage 250.

There's a post that tells you what you need to add to the remote.ini file.

That was the problem, I forgot to check this box. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the box checked, and now it works.
