How to Convert and Archives All Episodes

We are going to give up cable for a while. In advance of this, I'm recording a bunch of shows for my boys. I just went through the process of converting, deleting, and archiving 47 Avatars yesterday. Lot of button pushing on the remote.

Is there an easier way to convert to Ipod High Quality, delete the original, and then archive the conversion for all the recorded episodes for a show?

There is the SageMC STV, The autoconvert iSTV & the SJQ Sage Job Queue Plugin that will all do what you are asking for. They are all excellent.

Automatically Convert All Episodes?

Thanks, zzmystique, for three solutions: SageMC STV, The autoconvert iSTV & the SJQ Sage Job Queue Plugin. Here are my comments.

SageMC STV looks cools, but maybe it's a lot to install for one or two functions. I'll give it a try sometime I'm not as busy.

I never found the autoconvert iSTV. If someone can point it out to me, that would be great.

SJQ doesn't look too user friendly at first glance.
