Just one question:

When will the client software be able to play back a Blu-ray folder structure (sans any DRM), just as the extenders are able to?

I'd like to see HD-DVD playback, too, but I don't expect that to ever happen.

My 5.

1.) Online content, hulu/netflix
2.) Internet Radio - Pandora/slacker/last fm
3.) Plugin managment system
4.) Smoother upgrade process, beta rollback. It's not the most pleasant thing in the world to test out beta's find it doesn't work and then roll back. I would like to see the same update/rollback process as firmware updates on the HD200 for the rest of the sage software.
5.) UI update - not as big a deal with Sagemc but I would like to see some general usability enhancements.

Server: AMD Athlon II x4 635 2.9GHz, 8 Gb RAM, Win 10 x64, Java 8, Gigabit network
Drives: Several TB of internal SATA and external USB drives, no NAS or RAID or such...
Software: SageTV v9x64, stock STV with ADM.
Tuners: 4 tuners via (2) HDHomeruns (100% OTA, DIY antennas in the attic).
Clients: Several HD300s, HD200s, even an old HD100, all on wired LAN. Latest firmware for each.

This isn't an ask but I would say to Sage "Thank you for continually listening to your customers and adding the features that they want on a very timely basis. Also keep up the good work in your customer support which is fantastic, at least compared to your peers."

Just thought of another - any chance of developing Placeshifter clients for Handheld OS's like iPhone/iPod Touch, Blackberry OS, WinMobile, etc?

How about a load of SageTV Media Center on the HD-200 (i.e. so you don't need a separate backend server)? Of course this would require USB-attached storage for recordings and such, but the HD-200 hardware sounds like it should be adequate to run the back-end while still doing the front-end role.

If not, how about an HD-300 that is capable :-)

I'm close - very close. You know there's lots of exciting stuff going on around here though - some official stuff, some user-developed stuff. It's a good time to be a SageTV user imo. Of course there's a tiny bit of bad news in there as well. So.... hang on and it will be published soon.

It's definitely hulu - and i could care less. Hiding who really owns/controls it with a cool name has worn out it's welcome.
