hd200 WHS and hulu

I want to be able to watch hulu on my HD200. My current setup is listed below. From the reading I have been doing, I see people are using playon to make this happen. Will this work in my situation? I run the HD200 in extender mode. If so, can you give ma a few hints about how to make it work.

yeah, you need playon and once that is installed on your WHS machine (need WMP 11 installed first on WHS, google that one), you should be ok to go.

I say "ok" because people report sluggish behavior and I still can't seem to get it to work while netflix works fine. So, proceed with caution. Use the free eval version of playon to try it out.

Thank you. I got it installed on my whs machine. I have used it through my ps3. Next I will try through my hd200.

I wanted to post a solution to a problem that I experienced with installing "playon" on whs. "Playon" requires wmp11. WMP11 is not server2003/whs compatible. So this is what I had to do to install WMP11:

Download WMP11 and 7 zip

Use 7 zip to extract two files from the WMP11 installer:

wmfdist11.exe and wmp11.exe

Right click and tell each file to run in win xp compatibility mode. Install both files by double clicking on each. When you have installed both file reboot whs. Once the server is rebooted, startup wmp11. That should be it.

Now you can install the "Playon" software on whs.
