Limits on the pause buffer?

I've noticed that if I work in the menus for a while, that SageTV stops buffering live TV. It seems like there's a limit of about two minutes, after which point the program can't be replayed.

I have about 100GB hard disk space free, so this is not a problem. Why won't the pause buffer keep recording?

Also, I notice that once I get into this state, the only way to get back to normal programming is to sleep and restore from the taskbar.

Similarly, if I'm watching a recorded show, I seem trapped in the recording after it's over. How to I resume live TV?

Do you have Intelligent recording turned off? The behavior you mention is normal with Intelligent Recording off. If you have it on, it will continue on that show you were watching until it's over.

Are you saying you can't get back to "live" TV by selecting a listing in the EPG and double clicking?

I have it stall at the end of recordings sometimes. All you have to do is choose the EPG icon and select a show you want to watch.

I deleted my wiz.bin file and my problems went away. I guess it was corrupt.
