Anyone Else Have Problems With Tiling Today

OK, same server, same HD Theater. All of a sudden today I can't stream live video, HD or SD from my cable company from my HD-PVR as the source without major tiling and audio dropout.

ATSC OTA is fine, but anything, HD or regular, over the HD-PVR is awful.

However, if I record the show, it's fine to stream or watch at the server.

Any thoughts?

Since the HDPVR just records the stream as it comes form your cable company, most likely your cable is having difficulties. You should hook a tv up to video out on the HDPVR and verify if it is the source (I bet it is).

I don't think it's the cable company. I am still having the issue this morning, so I took the cable box upstairs and hooked it up to my HD TV. No tiling at all. The cable box that is usually on the upstairs TV does not tile either.

I also get the tiling with BTV and TME and a different CPU that is even newer and that I downloaded a trial of Sage to see if I could get it to happen on that cpu also. It did.

Curiously, I don't get the tiling if I record the show and then watch the recording.

But I do get the tiling on both my Sage Theater and the Sage server if I try to watch a live show.

And thinking it may have been something else on the network, I even put the server and theater on their a separate router by themselves. No difference their either.
