Getting RSS Reader and Ticker to work?

Anyone have any luck getting the RSS plugin to work? I see all the setup options to configure it, but when i try to paste a RSS feed from the clipboard it doesn't save it. I see it pastes the url correctly, but when you hit "ok" it doesn't seem to remember it. It doesn't show up at all?!

What file do these get stored in?
