Where do I get this paid version?

Edit: I found where to get it, but what is a typical donation?

Whatever you think it is worth to you. Keep in mind that he pays a couple of dollars in the processing fees.

What I did was I donated a "small-ish" amount to try it out and see if I was going to stick with it. Once I was happy with it and had decided to continue using it long-term, I donated a much larger amount. I looked at it like any other piece of software I was going to purchase and tried to figure out what it "should" cost me.
