What movies are on right now?

Media Center has this nice feature where in the EPG you can move all the way to the left and select a category of show (movie, sports, etc) and the EPG will change to only show you those types of shows. Does Sage support anything like this? It doesn't have to be in the EPG but someway to see all movies that are showing now, all sports that are on now, etc.

Yes you can do that with the default UI and with SageMC

Sorry for being a newbie but can you tell me what I would do to use this feature? I spent quite a bit of time looking for it. I looked in the schedule recordings section and you can browse shows based on category (action, etc) but that's not what I'm after.

Sorry, didn't realize from your original post that you were actually using SageTV and asking how - I thought you just wanted to know if.

As I look further on this I'm not positive it works the way you want it to, but here's what you can do to browse by category:

In default STV (UI):
Main Menu>Schedule Recordings>Browse by Category
You might also want to look into the Malore Menus options

In SageMC (custom add-on UI):
In guide hit the options button (ESC on keyboard) and choose a filter.
Or select "Movies" from the guide menu to view by genre/category.
