R50000HD H.264 works in latest ffmpeg, can we get placeshifter patched?
As of the latest version of vlc player, the included ffmpeg decoders finally properly handle PAFF. Can we get sagetranscoder/placeshifter updated so that we can take advantage of the fixes? I suspect our real issues are with the transcode on the sage server and not the placeshifter client?
Just as a reference, full software decode of Burn Notice recorded off USA HD uses about 130% cpu (all of one core and some of the other) on a 2.2GHz macbook.
