Latest Update Changed My Start & End Times

Not sure why, but I did the latest update of Sage and had some random changes to my start and end times in my Favorites. But they were really specific:

1. It did not change any show that was set to start and stop on time.

2. It did not change anything on my HD-PVR (used with STB and USB-UIRT for HD cable) or my PVR-USB2's (I use those for analog cable).

3. It only inverted the start and end times on some shows on some OTA ATSC tuners. In other words, "start 2 minutes early" became "start 2 minutes late". or, "stop 1 minute later" became "stop 1 minute earlier". I have more than one OTA ATSC tuner capable of tuning those channels, so there should not be a fight between back-to-back shows in that regard, and none of the shows were back to back anyway. It even changed the start/stop times for the season premiere of House next week.

Might be worth checking your settings after you update. FWIW, I don't use that plugin that lets you universally apply early start/late stop settings universally. I can't remember what it's called, but I saw it under plugins and chose not to use it.

What 'latest update' are you referring to?

There is no known change that could have caused the padding times on Favorites to get reversed. My guess for now is that either the padding was set up reversed initially & was just now noticed or else maybe some other customization affected it. How did you initially set up those Favorites? Are you using a custom STV or any imports?

You nailed in Andy - I now realized SageTV was trying to "conserve" tuners for me. I have more ATSC tuners than I know what to do with, so if the same shows are back to back, I set one to get a Madison, WI station and the second to take the next show from a Rockford, IL affiliate. Then I get my padding back.

Thank you that was it
