Sounds like you do not have BMT installed.
You may want to try making a complete copy of the Sage directory for back-up. Then revert back to the original Sage before anything was installed. If it isn't working then after trying the import process again, then maybe email tech support. In re-reading, you probably should have seperate TV recording directory and Import directory, ie S:\Movies and S:\TV or such. Good luck |

Please tell us what program you use to rip the DVDs.

I use this program 99% of the time for watching and recording television. In that regard it is working just fine. I am using a HDHR with 2 digital tuners and the Hauppauge 1800 internal with 1 analog and 1 digital. Maybe if I copy the error message and post it someone will know what it means. I have tried all of the listed decoders and none of them give me a picture or sound. Normally I will insert a commercial ( not a ripped one) DVD and select MY DVD from the menu and the screen turns black with the Microsoft busy circle spinning for 4 to 6 minutes and sometimes it will give me a error message and sometimes it just locks the program up and I must close it with the Windows task manager. I will try loading SageTV3 default and try that. I just don't want to mess up what I have.

yes I did. Thanks Stranger
Why do you have a forward slash in S:\movies? S:/movies is my import directory. I have also tried \\server\movies All to no avail

I've got hundreds of DVD's in that format, and sage has never had any problems at all finding them, nor my HD100/HD200's playing them.
