Can't watch Youtube videos

Ever since I got the media extender two months ago, I've never been able to access and watch any youtube videos as listed in the menu settings. Google video is fine, etc., but if I hit a youtube clip, sage craps-out.

any ideas?

You posted in the extender forum... are you using this as an extender? If so, see the update info in the SageTV Software forum -- you need to be using v6.6 and have all the latest STV updates.

If you are using the HD200 in Media Player mode, then please use the forum set aside for that. It also needs an STV update, but a new firmware is required for that & it isn't available yet. Subscribe to the HD200 notification thread in the Announcements forum to receive an email when any new firmware is available.

Thanks for your help - I have updated all that is available for today i believe (10/16/09). Sorry for my ignorance on this issue - what is the difference between "extender-mode" and "media-player" mode?

sage version 6.6.2.218 and stv version 2009101301

latest update to HD200 as well - and still getting this warning when attempting to access youtube through HD200 online services: "unable to determine the video file to download."

Through Sage, Youtube playback is AOK, just not through HD200.
Any thoughts?

Fresh install of the latest server software. I can view Google videos but not You Tube. Same error : Unable to determine...etc.

This is on the server.
