Dedicated Placeshifter Q

I went from a pvr150 to a HD pvr and it seems that my upload speed isnt enough to keep up with the h.264; This did not happen when i was running pvr 150's on mpeg.
Im not conserned with quality while streaming; as i mostly just 'listen' to the stream while at work rather then watch.

The question is, is it possible to either
A: Assign 2 inputs for 1 source.
The idea for this would be componenet out on 1 reciver to HDdvr and RCA out on same reciver to either HDPVR RCA or PVR150. Then have place shifter use the RCA input (and when not in use) have other local clients use the HD inputs.
B: Assign Placeshifter to a dedicated source.
Dedicate 1 Sat box to nothing but RCA via pvr150 and make placeshifter only use that as its source.

Sorry if this doesnt sound clear....

It probably isnt' a matter of not enough bandwidth, as the stream to the placeshifter is the same regardless of source material. More likely it is a lack of processing power on the part of the server. It has to decode teh much more complicated H.264 high def video, then scale it and encode it to the low quality MPEG-2 to send to the placeshifter. That takes a LOT more processing power than was required for SD MPEG-2 to low quality SD MPEG-2 transcoding.
