help with how to add online tv streams

Can someone point me in the right direction? I am wanting to be able to watch something like espn360.com via sagetv. Is this possible? I have tried searching but am not finding what I am looking for.

Well, I believe you have a couple of options here. Someone can chime in and correct me if I am wrong. This thread goes into detail about adding custom feeds for online video. To add custom feeds, you will be doing a little bit of editing to some properties files.

Another option you might have is to go the PlayOn route. Evilpenguin has done a good amount of work on this. I don't really know what ESPN or ESPN360 has as far as feeds go, but I'm sure there is something out there. PlayOn will allow you to install plug-ins that will import into Sage. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if there is an ESPN plug-in. Not sure though.

I would recommend to go the PlayOn route but there is a fee. Normally, a subscription costs $39.99, but they have a Halloween special going on for $29.99.

Appears that PlayOn isn't going to work (surprising to me)

ESPN360 does look like it won't be available. There are still Sports feeds and I guess "regular" ESPN feeds with PlayOn though. You may keep those in mind.

I will keep looking
