Online Media
Just want to say thanks for your input before I ask the question.
This referes to online news content. I am trying to watch some of the stuff from the news group. I have tried different cnet news topics and different catorgies with mixed results. When I make a selection on the HD200 it starts the buffering and then I will get a notice on screen that "the clip must be downloaded before playback. Please wait....." It starts the download but never will finish. It stops at the same point in the download on the same clip each time and that percents will vary depending on the clip. Now some of the clips will complete and play. If I am in the Science and Tech forum I have no problem watching the clips from geek brief or Hack5 or other stuff which is much longer but does not download the entire clip before playing.
Could the HD200 be running out of memory and that is causing the problem? I have tried adding a usb flash drive but with no sucess of downloading the clips. Is there a way to use the USB as temporary storage for these downloads?
I am using the HD200 in stand alone mode or Media player mode...Not connected to Sage server.
Firmware version 200909030
Movies play find some online content play fine.
Thanks
Jerry
