couple of MC questions
1)How can I customize the myvideos menu to display two different sub folders that lead into two different folders?
Rite now sage is configured to import both movies and TV shows folders. When I go to myvideos sage displays the contents of the movies folder and the content of my tvshows. To explain on this more, the movies folder is arranged as follows movies/all my dvd rips and recorded movies The Tvshows folder is arraged like this tvshows/drama/drama shows tvshows/comedy/comedy shows tvshows/cartoons/cartoon shows I attempted to move all my movies into a movies/movies/all my movies type of heirarchy but when I went back to sagemc it didn't display it as movies drama comedy cartoon shows instead it just displayed them as it has done all a long. This may have been do to the fact that I didn't let it rescan but I tested it on a movie and it worked. 2)has anyone had any difficulty getting comskip to work with WHS? I have added unc paths through sagetv detailed setup of my recording directory but I still can't get it to work on my clients. It works on the server, well it works in so much that sage identifies it through the interface by showing the CS symbol, but none of my clients work. |

I believe at one point I found I needed an extra folder layer in there though I was never sure why... So I ended up with \\WHS\Videos\TV Shows\TV Shows |

The .ts recordings are in their own folders. One step forward one step back |

Did you try throwing the extra folder in there, e.g., ..\TV Shows\TV Shows?

The .ts recordings though that I have in the \movies directory are movie recordings from sagetv. |

Maybe I'm missing something, but did you try the same thing on the Movies folder?

are you running bmt 3.1 and SageMC 6.3.9a?
If yes you need to upgrade to the latest version of SageMC (currently 6.3.9_b19) and phoenix v1.44 after installing SageMC 6.3.9a. There was a bug that BMT 3.1 uncovered in SageMC 6.3.9a where all videos showed up in the root folder for file system view.

It worked for a couple of programs last week but most of them the clients don't identify the comskip file even though it is in the recordings. I have comskip monitor set to \\servername\\video in the properties files but it comes as f:\\servername\\video in the webpage interface. f: is where sagetv is located. Also fanart got completely changed in the last year or so correct? |
