Hauppauge 1600/1800... model # matter?

Hi

Probably a pretty basic question, but I don't want to buy the incorrect tuner...

When I check out the Hauppauge website for the HVR-1600 and 1800, I see several models that are flagged with an asterisk, and this note:
"The Media Center kits and Media Center boards do not include an MPEG video decoder. If you are using Windows 7 Media Center, Windows Vista Media Center or have a Media Center PC, it has come with a Microsoft certified Media Center MPEG decoder pre-installed. If you are building a new Windows Media Center PC, please check with Microsoft for a list of certified MPEG decoders. YOU WILL NEED A MICROSOFT CERTIFIED MEDIA CENTER DECODER TO WATCH TV!"

Does that matter, for a SageTV user (ie: do I need to get a model that doesn't have this asterisk/note)?

Thanks in Advance!

Thanks...

Thanks... I suspected that was the case, but wanted confirmation... I don't need another "not-quite-right box" in my basement.
