Any DVD s/w for playback of DVD with DTS pass through and Hauppauge remote support??

I am looking for a good DVD software package that has a good decoder does the following in order of priority.

1) Can play DVD files off of a hard drive (some are able to do this)

2) Supports IR commands from the hauppauge remote (I have an IR distribution system in home and use SageTV so this is critical.....problem I have with using Sage is it does not allow me to launch a dvd that is on my hard drive...only one in the dvd drive itself...why?)

3) Supports Dolby Digital and DTS pass through.

Any recommendations????

If you have the DVD files in an imported library directory they will show up under
Media Library & DVD -> Imported Video Files

Just wish they would at least get rid of the /video_ts part of the name. *shrug*
I guess when studio comes out we will have some really nifty interfaces anyway.

As long as the application can accept key commands, you can extend the Hauppauge remote to support it. See the links in this FAQ, specifically the 2nd link.

Thomas:

I have my files in the right directory, but they are not showing up in SageTV under Video Library. Any suggestions?

Exit all the way out of Sage (don't just sleep) and restart Sage.

OK...I now see the files....

But, I still need to get pass through working. Is it verified that Sonic Cineplayer will do this? I have a Audigy 2ZS sound card and even though I have DTS pass through enabled or checked, I have noticed no sound coming through when I use Roxio DVDMax (which I understand is the same as PowerDVD)...even though this program allows me to select DTS. Seems odd.

zoomplayer actually allows you to export there commands to a .GML file that will then you can then import into girder. Assuming you are using the hauppage IR plugin everything should work fine. I am using myHTPC as a front end and then zoomplayer to play divx and .VOB files and it works quite nicely.
