Repair Media Paths in Wiz.bin?

So I have a bit of a problem.

I had to rebuild my sage server a few weeks ago. When I rebuilt the server, I changed the recording directory. I followed the simple method outlined in the sticky.

Quote:
The Simple Method

The easiest way to move a recording is to:

1. Exit SageTV -- this means stopping the service if you are using service mode; if not using service mode, just exit the SageTV application.
2. Make a backup copy of wiz.bin, if you haven't already done so.
3. Move the recorded file to another recording directory or video import directory.
4. Restart SageTV.
5. Check to see if the SageTV Recordings menu still lists the recording and it can be played.
Everything seemed to work fine and I could play the files w/o issue.

However, I set up SJQ and I have run into an issue that seems to be related to incorrect media paths in the wiz.bin. That issue is in the SJQ thread here.

Basically, SJQ uses the wizbin to reference the file location. I am getting errors that the job can not find the file. The error is listed the original file location and not the new file location on the server.

My question is, how do I go about fixing this? Can I manually edit the entries in the wiz.bin?

If I turn on the advanced_video_file_recovery=true in the properties file, will this fix the problem I am encountering?

Thanks,
Peter

If it plays fine In SageTV then the path in the details is correct or else you would get file not found when you try to play in Sage. Do you have blanks etc.. in your paths maybe SJQ is not picking up the blank correctly. If files play correctly that means that it is correct in WIZBIN.

Update: I was able to remedy this problem. It was a wiz.bin issue. I edited the properties file and enabled the advanced_video_file_recovery=true. After about 10 min or so, the file locations were then correct.
