Trying to Create Comskip Button on Harmony One

I am currently running Sage on WHS with two hd200 extenders and SageMC. Everything is working great for the most part. I almost have a high WAF but she misses the commercial advance button on the replaytv. Currently to turn on/off comskip on extenders, we are hitting select then arrow up 4 spots(or down 5) and then enable or disable comskip. Not exactly the 1 click experience on the replaytv. Anyway, I thought I would just program a sequence on the harmony remote. The problem is I am limited to 5 steps. So I was wondering if their is a way to remove/reorder items in the options menu? If not, are their any other suggestions. Low priority, but my system is running very well otherwise.

The right and left arrow buttons do commercial advance, it does in the default STV (and i think in sagemc).

Do you mean to enable and disable the automatic advance, for that you may need to go to the options menu. There may be a way to map it to a remote button, but I'm not sure. i find it way easier just to hit the right arrow every time a commercial comes, especially since comskip is not 100% perfect?

you can re-order the menu. you have to be on the server though. start sage, go to the menu, hit cntrl-F12, and play around in studio. search for how to use studio on the forums.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of sage studio. I poked around the forums and was able to reorder the options menu popup and put Comskip enable/disable at the top of the list. I reprogrammed the Harmony sequence (now only 3 steps) and it works like a charm. Here is a link to the forum thread which helped me put it together. Thanks all!

I believe that sending a "Custom2" command disables commercial skipping. What I do is teach my Harmony remote a button press from a random remote--preferably, one that's from another room. Then, go into detailed setup, commands, then press "Link Infrared/Keystroke to SageTV Command". Scroll through the list to the Custom2 entry and use the button you programmed to assign the code to that function.

You should now be able to disable skipping with the one button.
