TCPserver 1.5.1 seems to have ironed out most of my issues too

I also have this issue :

I've also noticed that the songs count doesn't get reset to 0 when you perform another sync, consequently it currently thinks I havw 21000 songs (I have 7000 and have re-sync'ed twice)

I also get some movies showing their path in the title - ie the movie will be under movies\action & adventure\title and it shows up under 'm' in titles rather than the actual title

Thanks for all the rapid bug fixes recently though, I appreciate it

Restart of the app has fixed that one....

I missed that, it's fixed for the next release.

Right, when you don't have any metadata, that's what SageTV puts in the Title...

Forgetty McThougtless forgot to bring his G1 to work today. We'll try it again tomorrow.

The ones I've imported are. The ones recorded from SageTV are not. The latter is where a search function would come in real handy.

Right, in BTV each show can be recorded to its own folder, but I guess SageTV doesn't have that option...

You and me both, when you find one let me know! I'll have my phone and tablet, so I can have my cake and eat it too!

Fonceur keep up the great work !

Question: I read through the most recent 5 pages of this thread (been on vacation) which version of VLC is working best now, it is not clear to me, I think I saw that folks reverted to 1.0?

Thanks!

While the Adam Notion Ink seems like the best candidate, who knows when it will become available... In the mean time, the
Huawei S7 that will be available within 2 weeks is looking good...

Well, as far as I know, only Mythikal seems to really get good results, and that is with VLC 1.0 and his HTC Evo phone. The streaming is more of an art than real science...

As a reminder, just like the official placeshifter, you can't stream a DVD or DVD structure, only actual video files...

Wow.. I just found the reason to buy the Android instead of an iPhone!

I guess there is a reason the last company to enter the fray ends up making what everyone will want. Opensource is good. I think even SJ said that in his rant about why he won't support flash... Although his reasons sounded more like propaganda than reality. -Bill

nswPlayer running Android 1.6 would not stream with the current default settings. It buffered, but came back with an "Illegal file" error.

Bah, and you're confirming from time to time that I haven't broken it on your Evo?

Yessir. I actually have to check it first because I start the stream from my phone then have the victims go to the rtsp url (which I know is valid because the video buffers but doesn't play).

This was on the same G1 that didn't work on Wednesday... I forgot to mention that before.

Could you try with "Media player" by BluMedialab and "Stream media player" by PSA, I seem to remember reading that they supported progressive stream...

Version 1.07

- While browsing a list, starting to type text will filter items containing that text in the Title...

Forgetty McThoughtless stopped into work today with his G1. The BluMediaLab Media Player didn't show up in the market for him (version compatibility?). PSA Stream Media Player would not play the file.

Well, their web site say it's on The Market, but then they have a generic link while all their other apps have specific links, so something seems odd... Too bad, as the app is supposed to be based on some SDK that does handle the progressive streams.
