The first thing would be to enable the debugging and check the sagetv_0.txt log file...

Well, I'm pretty much done improving the Android version, so will be going back to the iOS one soon... But before that...

Version 1.44

- Delay the reconnection on wake, to make sure the device has reconnected to the network.
- Fix: TV guide could crash if the EPG has no valid data.
- Preferred installation location moved to the SD card for Android OS 2.2+.
- Now targeting Android OS 2.2, but mostly supporting 1.5+.

Updated to 1.45, still have no thumbnails, just a placeholder that looks like an alien in a speech bubble. I wonder if perhaps I am missing something. Would a log be helpful?

You might be lacking Phoenix Fanart? Do you see your album art for specific album/song (not the list of albums/songs, but clicking one item)?

Version 1.46

- Fix: the generic Android ID was still active.

Version 1.45

- Fix: invalid channels could crash the application.

Same placeholder image, I seem to remember that I have installed Fanart, certainly it's on my main client PC because it does the fanart, can't remember if anything was installed on the server though?

Yes, just been back through, looks like there are phoenix references in the properties file on the server. Maybe because I am using SageMC and still running v6.6. Time to swallow the lack of dynamic menus and switch to v7 I guess.

From the wiki:
Requirements: Recent version of SageTV (7 or newer).

I saw that originally but the forum thread seemed to imply that it was backwards compatible, and it apparently is with the exception of thumbnails. Hate to mess with something that has been working so well and that the family have got used to but I think this might just be the kick in the butt I need to do my upgrade.

Fonceur, Thanks again for this app and keeping it updated. I know I have not posted in a while but just to let you know I am constantly using this to constantly check my scheduled recordings. I do not stream as much but my original setting still work on my EVO. I tried going to your new setting for 1.8 but I still like mine.

I did however play with the music streaming with your settings and mine. Both give me heavy static but all my music files are flac files so I suppose that has something to do with it.

My real question revolves with displaying the images. I do have phoenix and sagex apis installed. This is where all my time has been lately. Burning all my movies and music onto my server. The fanart does display on my hd200 for tv shows and music.

I am also getting the bubble everywhere. Even when I go to a specific album and then to a specific song. Also, all of my recordings show the bubble and also my pictures.

Thanks again for the great app.
