I have noticed that most of my drop down boxes are showing white and hard to see. Didn't you change that font color a while back?
Thanks
Wayne

I am using the default values, it's your phone manufacturer or provider that customized something he shouldn't have... In the Settings screen, I did provide an option to override their customization though.

Version 1.72

- Added a Keyboard + custom buttons screen (configured in SageTCPServer 2.2.2+).
- Can now use the keyboard to input text on a Client.

Questions about the custom buttons, if any, should go in the SageTCPServer thread...

Hi

I've just got a new android phone, and was looking to download the latest version of tasagetv - the easiest way appears to be via dropbox.

I've downloaded the file now, but is there a way i can link my dropbox account to the tasagetv dropbox account? this way i could set it up to email me when there are changes.

or am i going mad...

cheers

Just send me a pm with the email address of your DropBox account, I'll add you to a folder for that.

As far as the streaming is concerned, the native media player on the iPhone is probably superior to Mirage and other options on the Android devices...

I can't get my device to stream over 3G any special tweaks i need to get it to work?
it looks like its trying but the video never loads...

also with the remote on my hd300 it would be nice if while im in guide and i switch to the keyboard it didnt exit the guide, so i could scroll up and down with the arrows... nice app though.

does the iphone stream easily over 3g? I figured the 4g would be better for streaming tv over, but i havent been in a 4g area since i installed tasagetv.

Make sure you are forwarding the port 8080, or which ever you use. Some carriers have been known to block some ports, so you might need to try a different one.

Not sure what you are describing here, could you elaborate?

ok thanks i got it to work over the 3g! woohoo! maybe i dont need to switch to the iphone. its stuttering a little but i need to mess with the configs.

I talking about, when i use my driod as a remote for my HD300 and i goto the guide... i want to use the up, down, left, right arrows to look through the tv guide so i can select what i want to watch or record. but when i select guide, then switch to that part of the remote (the 2nd page, that the arrows are on) the guide closes out.

is there any way to fix the stuttering over 3G? its like my connection isnt fast enough.

EDIT: Also is this able to stream music? because I am unable to, I dont see an option for mirage for the music. the sound used to work for my original stream, but now it just says i have network problems.

Which guide? The Program guide in TaSageTV, or the HD300 guide?

Assuming you are talking of the HD300 guide, are you sure you are not hitting another button when trying to scroll to the second half of the page?

For Mirage, you'll need to troubleshoot with either the Mirage author or the iOS streaming plugin author...

The iOS streaming plugin does not support Music, only some of the Video file formats. You can stream audio through VLC on port 554 or such.

AAAH i didnt know you could scroll to the rest of the remote. That solves that.

now for the video @ 3G, i have a feeling its trying to placeshift at too high of a quality. is there any way that can be changed?
or will that need to be changed with the mirage author also?

Well, the regular Mirage streaming option is using a variant bit rates playlist, so it should automatically adjust... Have you tried the "Mirage stream low", it's using the lowest bit rate supported by the iOS streaming plugin.

I did suggest (on multiple occasions) to the iOS streaming plugin author to add some lower bit rates, but he said it wasn't needed and he was following the AirPlay bit rates...
