Captions in PlaceShifter over internet?

I have been trying to switch to sagetv from MCE. I have been having all kinds of problems, but I have most of them resolved. I am still having 2 problems though. One of the problems is with SageTV and the other is with PlaceShifter. I am deaf. Captions are a must for me. I finally got it working while watching on my main machine. Also, before I left town this morning, they were working in placeshifter over the network. I am now out of town and am trying to watch my shows. I can't enable captions now that I am watching over the internet. I go to the menu entry while playing a recording to enable captions to CC1. I click it and it still says Off. It will not change from Off to CC1 and CC2. Please help!!!

I just got an email back from Sage. Apparently CC is not supported in PlaceShifter when viewing remotely, only over network. Does anybody know of a way to get this to work. I am deaf and out of town for months at a time. The whole reason I paid for and switched to SageTV was so that I could watch my shows remotely.
