Severe Pixalization just appeared
Hi, i installed RC2 and had all kinds of lock up problems plus channels not changing anymore (as others have reported). So I backed off to the last one which worked for me (.15) and now I have severe pixalization. Really terrible even during low motion stuff. Any ideas on how to get back to where I was or what could be causing this?
I use the Elecard decoder. I've tried with/without dscaler, vmr etc... Thanks |

Hi folks, no one has any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? I've completely uninstalled Sage and still the same problem. Also turned off any other software running in the background etc... This is driving me crazy and I have no idea what I changed other than installing Ultra VNC which I later uninstalled.
The pixelization, if you can call it that, is really extreme with very large sections of the picture almost looking like they're showing a previous frame or something in big rectangular blocks. |

Have you tried any other decoders/other files?

Yes, All decoders have the same pixel problem. Using the Intervideo non CSS and regular also has very bad gliching as does the powerdvd one. Only Elecard plays smoothly but with pixelization. Thanks...

Have you recently upgraded your Hauppauge drivers? I had a similar problem and falling back to an older rev took care of it for me.

I have not touched the drivers (that I know of). BTW, the problem also occurs using the software that came with the 250 card. What driver rev do you use?
