Manual delete of a (favorite) episode does? (RC2)

I go into Sage recordings and delete a show manually and it leaves the desciption and listing. I did not check for the mpg file yet. I also get stuck in the sub-menu and cannot get back unless it's with the mouse (I posted on this). While the RC2 menus look nice, they seem a little buggy.

sounds like you are using the mlbdude 2-column view.
(which can only be enabled through a properties file setting because it is full of bugs, and was only put into the RC versions as a hidden feature after special pleas from various users).

The other post was: RC2 bug with recorded show menu?, and I replied to you there with the same answer you got here: that 2-pane view doesn't work perfectly. That recording list style may 'seem a little buggy' because it is a little buggy... including the fact that deleted shows are not removed from the list immediately.

For a more bug-free experience, close SageTV, edit the properties file, and set:

use_mlbdude_sage_recordings=false

Any bugs you then run into (Edit: for the non-2-pane views only) should be submitted to Frey via the Bug Submission Form.

That's weird, it was the defualt for me when I installed RC2. Can anyone point me to the line to set it to normal?

That means you've used the v2 beta for a while & the setting was already in your properties file. A clean install wouldn't have turned it on. As for how to turn it off... unless you are blocking my posts for some reason, see the post directly above yours.
